I am the children’s Pastor at Faith Community Church in St. Johns, FL. My favorite day of the week is Sunday, because I know I am going to get to spend that morning with the COOLEST KIDS in town. When I told my mom that I felt a call from the Lord to be a children’s minister, she shared with me a little story from my childhood. “When you were little, I told you the story about Jesus calling the children to Him (Mark 10:14). When you heard it, you began to cry.” That memory my mom shared with me, confirmed for me that I have always had a special relationship with Jesus; a childlike relationship.

I graduated from Southern Nazarene University in May of 2001 with a degree in Christian Education. Spent a year in Madagascar serving as a volunteer missionary, teaching English and holding several children’s bible studies in the community where I lived. I married my wonderful husband, Brandon in Dallas, TX on September 27th, 2003. Two years later God called us to Jacksonville, FL. On April 12^th, 2007 we became parents to a precious baby girl we named Hailey Marie. When she came home from the hospital, we introduced her to our very large, very hairy, 170 lb, black Great Dane named Levi. They are now the best of friends.  Brandon Jr. was born on February 6th, 2009. 

As a family we love to eat sushi, eat anything spicy and eat a good steak. (Brandon can grill a mean steak and that is one of the many reasons why I married him.)

We also like to travel. Our favorite place to go is Disney World. Even Levi gets to go to the greatest place on earth. I like to scrapbook, be outdoors and I’LL TRY ANYTHING ONCE.

Jacksonville has been a wonderful place to start our family. We absolutely love it here and we are so thankful we followed God’s call to be with Him. It is great to be where God is working.
